A Little About Myself

Ever since I started blogging, I haven't really said a whole lot about myself, so I will tell a little about myself now!

 So here I go:

My name is Frankie (middle name, last name) JR

I try and watch all 162 Yankees games a year, although I usually miss about 10-20.

I love zombie movies, books, graphic novels, etc. A List in order from least to best:

3. The Enemy Series (7 books)

2. The Walking Dead (graphic novel)

1. 28 Days Later (graphic novel)

My favorite movies, in order from least to best, are:

6. 21 Jump Street

5. 22 Jump Street

4. 28 Weeks Later

3. Dawn Of The Dead (remake)

2. Resident Evil (first one, the other made no sense)

1. 28 Days Later (Watched it a million times and it never got old!)

The only sport I play is baseball. I may not be the best at it, but it's what I like, even though I try.

Going to baseball games is my favorite thing to do, especially Yankees games.

I don't play a lot of video games at all, but when I do, it's usually baseball

I'm in middle school and I had to blog, but now it's sort of a hobby now.

My favorite subject is either math or language arts.

I LOVE apple cider.

I want to be a sports announcer when I grow up, for baseball.

I HATE my iphone, it's a waste of your life/time!!!

I don't want to be popular as most kids do, I just want to be that normal everyday person.

My favorite color is Orange.

I donate to charity's.

Happy (almost) Friday!

4th Card Of Christmas

Another really nice (fake?) card by Panini! I pulled this card myself from a box of Immaculate, which isn't a bad pull. I didn't have any Cabrera prior to that, so this is my only card of Miggy. Here it is:
#ed /49

One of the best players in the game!

Happy Thursday!

3rd Card Of Christmas

I got this card for $10 before he got traded, so he's not really in the Yankees farm system. I don't really know what to say about this card:

The card is pretty cool, but the player isn't. Not one of my favorites, but I had to pick something out. I couldn't walk up the stairs to get the card I actually wanted to show, so I had to make do with this one! Tomorrows card will be a lot better!

Happy Wednesday!

A Box Of 2014 Supreme and 2008 Tristar

On got these boxes on black friday from Blowout Cards for a decent price. Here are the "goods."

Of course I get a rookie, when I already have three autographs of him. The card is stunning! The player? Not so much.
#ed 1/50

Segura had a great 2013, but then 2014 sorta fell apart for him. The die cut is a pretty good looking card, but it's a die cut? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The card is #ed 2/25. I thought it was a little weird that the first card was number one, and the second was number two. Interesting, Topps.

Now onto the box of 2008 Tristar!

Who?

Who?

Who?

At least he's in the Majors.

 Who?

 Who?

Who?

Who?

Overall, some pretty rough boxes!

I won't even bother scanning the other cards.

Happy Wednesday!

Some Packs And Two Cards From A Friend

Today one of my awesome friends dropped off the following packs for me:

(1) 2011 Topps series two baseball
(2) 2012 Topps series one baseball
(2) 2014 Topps series one baseball

I got some pretty cool cards and an interesting redemption card, which is expired ugh. Here are the cards!
This is a really fun picture with David Murphy!

...................

Mike Leake is a pitcher, but is featured as a batter on this card!

King Albert. I swear, he's on steroids.

Pitched the last no hitter of the season!

Red Sparkle variation!

Not going to stay with the Yankees, sorry.

I saw this card and thought it was something huge. Then I looked at the expiration date.

One of my favorite cards of the 5 packs. It's a pretty thick card, and on the back it states that Nomar was able to reach 90mph fastball when he was 13!

Gold parallel #ed to the year it was made. Also a former Yankee!

An interesting matchup...

I love this card, just because of the fact they show how he turns his whole body towards first base.

One of each of the core four! I'll start with this sparkle of Jorge Posada!

One of the saddest games I've ever watched. I love this card! It shows DJ, Pettitte, and Mo all in one card! I already have a couple of the same card, but nonetheless, it's an awesome card!

No, this didn't come from a pack, my friend (or his father) gave me this card, which makes it even better! It's from 1968 Topps, so I can add it to my vintage collection!

Ugh, my scanner is stupid, please forgive me! It's a Don Mattingly rookie card from 1984 Topps! I already have one, but nobody can have enough Mattingly!

Thank You so much for the cards Jack, I really like them!

Please go check out his blog, even though it's not really about cards:

2nd Card Of Christmas

My internet has been down for most of the day, and I just came back from my first day of school in 19 days, so I'm just getting around to this now. This is the second card of the twenty five that I will show. Enjoy!

It isn't a very expensive card, ($4) but it's one of my favorites! He also has a pretty nice autograph; Better than most players these days.

Warren was so good for the Yankees for the first half of the season, then everything sort of fell apart. He still was a pretty good reliever, but not as he was before the all star break. I can't wait to see him pitch in 2015!

Happy Tuesday!

1st Card Of Christmas

I thought showing other bloggers one card a day from my own collection would be a fun thing to do until Christmas. So December 1st-card 1, December 2nd-card 2, etc. I've had this booklet for a while now and haven't shown it yet, so I thought it would be appropriate to start with this card!

Yeah, the scan isn't the greatest, but it's a pretty cool card nonetheless. No, Buchholz didn't really have the best year in 2014. Neither did Gonzalez. The card has some dings, but that doesn't really bother me.

If you can't see the names, they are:

Starlin Castro
Carlos Gonzalez
Buster Posey
David Price
Jose Bautista
Clay Buchholz

Happy Monday!
